Laser Research releases CO2 lenses for laser-cutting precision gaskets

Optics

Laser Research Optics has released a line of CO2 lenses that it says fit popular lasers used for cutting precision gaskets made from a variety of materials.

Laser Research CO2 Laser Lenses come in 0.5” to 1” O.D. sizes with focal lengths from 1” to 2” and are offered with dual-band antireflective coatings to aid in system alignment.

These OEM-quality lenses, the firm says, conform to ISO-10111 specifications and are suitable for field replacement by the user.

Designed for lasers that cut gaskets made of composites, fibre, foam, metal, rubber, and silicone to close tolerances, Laser Research CO2 Laser Lenses are available for Amada, Coherent, Cincinnati, Epilog, Mazak, Synrad, Trumpf, and Universal lasers.
