Laser engraving solutions provider Lasers Only has released the 200W Fibre Laser Marking Machine.
With independent control over pulse repetition frequency and pulse width, the laser can work on a range of materials and produce engravings in colour on stainless steel and polished metal surfaces.
The desktop split-system model features 200W laser power while utilising an air cooling method, and comes in an aluminium case that provides protection and ventilation.
The touchscreen display and intuitive controls make it easy to operate, the firm says, while the 6-inch circular LED light fixture ensures precise visibility. The LED can be turned away using a rotating mechanism or securely positioned with an automatic magnetic latch.
The machine is equipped with a high-precision, motorised Z-axis, which also offers remote control, for accurate movement and alignment of the galvo scanner. According to Lasers Only, the square guide rails maintain a horizontal level, eliminating misalignments that can affect engraving quality.
The JPT M7 series high-power pulsed fibre laser in the machine utilises MOPA technology, which Lasers Only says offers strong laser performance and precise pulse shaping control. The laser is operated with JCZ Control Boards and the EZCAD2 application. The machine is tested with Lightburn software, specifically developed for fibre lasers with galvo scanners.
