New laser lenses optimised for crystal engraving

Laser engraving

Laser Research Optics has released a line of OEM-compatible CO2 laser lenses optimised for engraving that it says fit almost all popular crystal etching lasers to replace worn lenses in the field.

Laser Research CO2 Lenses are direct field replacements for most popular engraving lasers. Ideally suited for enhancing engraving details on crystal trophies and plaques, they are optimised for 10.6 microns and come in 1” and 1.5” diameter sizes, with focal lengths from 2” to 7.5” in 0.5” increments.

Featuring 40-20 scratch-dig surface quality and less than 0.2% absorption values to keep them cooler, these Laser Research CO2 Lenses conform to ISO-10110 specifications and are in stock for immediate delivery.

The lenses are ideally suited for Epilog, Kern, Trotec, Universal, and Vytek lasers, the firm says.
