ICNFT 2018 - 5th International Conference on New Forming Technology

Since 2004 the ICNFT is an inspiring forum for researchers and professional practitioners to discuss aspects of leading-edge novel forming technologies. The focus of the CIRP sponsored conference is on research, development 
and applications of new forming technology as well as on latest achievements in forming advanced high-performance materials designed to meet the needs of manufacturing industry in present and future years. 

In 2018 special sessions focussing on micro cold forming and dry metal forming are offered. A guided tour to Bremen’s University of Excellence and its Research Institutes, a visit of Mercedes-Benz car factory and some touristic offers are also part of the conference (sight-seeing in the historical part of Bremen, boat trip on the river Weser with dinner, farewell dinner on historical 'Beck's' sailing ship). 

ICNFT has also been held in Harbin, China and Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
