Highyag appoints managing director

Highyag Lasertechnologie has appointed Dr Holger Schlüter as its managing director.

Schlüter has 20 years of experience in the field of high power lasers for industrial applications, most recently as COO of Technolas Perfect Vision. Before that he held key management roles at Trumpf including the management of development, production, sales and service of high-power lasers in North America. He earned his Diploma in Physics and his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Furthermore, he holds several patents in the field of laser resonators and laser applications.

‘I am looking forward to the responsible task of managing this company to ensure its leading position in the market,’ commented Schlüter. To continue focusing on customer needs, Schlüter will investigate the current requirements in meetings with customers and partners in the near future.
