Eurolaser to present wood processing solutions at Ligna trade fair

Customised cutting systems for wood-based materials

Eurolaser is an ISO 9001 certified premium manufacturer of modular CO2 laser systems of up to 3.20 metres in width and length. The laser systems are perfect for cutting various wood-based materials, such as MDF, veneer or plywood. Conventional mechanical methods, such as knife cutting or tool punching, require a lot of effort, create a lot of dust and cost a lot of money. They wear out quickly and need to be replaced frequently – this results in a dirty machine environment and long downtimes. Cutting edges need to be reworked in additional work steps. In addition to this, the contour of cutting dies cannot be flexibly altered, which makes it impossible to react quickly to changing market conditions.

In contrast to this, laser cutting is flexible, clean, fast and cost-effective as the contactless cutting technique eliminates tool wear, which means no additional costs for the purchase of new tools. Reduced dust formation and no chipping waste during cutting means no cleaning is required. The laser achieves consistently high cutting quality and extremely fine, virtually radius-free contours.

High-precision eurolaser cutting systems comprise exclusively high-quality components and guarantee reliability, an extremely long service life and a favourable price-performance ratio for the user. After purchasing a cutting system, eurolaser is delighted to be able to stand by its customers as a long-term partner with 25 years of experience, providing competent and fast support, supplying high-quality spare parts and accessories and making customers aware of new options for system extensions. The eurolaser ACADEMY offers a wide range of user seminars on efficient operation and on-site maintenance for industrial customers. In addition to this, the eurolaser service department is on hand to provide user tips and information on further developments and solution concepts, which enable customers to optimise or upgrade their processing operations.

eurolaser will be presenting the M-800 laser system in combination with additional components at Ligna in Hanover from 27 – 31 May 2019 in Hall 13 at Stand E02. The automatic shuttle table (STA), which has been specially configured to increase efficiency, enables workpieces to be supplied, processed and removed simultaneously, while the Pick‘n Place robot system ensures automatic loading and unloading of the laser system. Work process optimisation reduces the fault rate and also saves time. The label module to attach labels installed in parallel to the laser and the ink printer module to mark them enable optimum labelling of the individual parts for downstream production steps on a machine without having to change any tools. Qualified eurolaser expert will be happy to answer your questions about your unique processing situations, automation solutions and production processes and will help you find the right system solution for you.
