Gecko polygon scanners

Precision Laser Scanning is now offering two Gecko polygon scanner models: the Gecko-5-OTS polygon scanner with an 8.5mm aperture and up to 5,000 rpm; and the Gecko-33-OTS polygon scanner with a 4.5mm aperture and up to 33,000 rpm.

These two models cover the most commonly required speed ranges. Typical applications include velocimetry, laser micrometre, microscopy, laser light shows and low cost scanning to do a proof of concept. On completion of a proof of concept, an OEM can specify a custom Gecko with any number of facets and speeds up to 55,000 rpm. The controllers of the Gecko family are part of the motor, which fits well in applications requiring a compact form factor.
