Laser manufacturer NLight has added a blue semiconductor laser to its "element" family of lasers at Photonics West.
The element semiconductor lasers deliver exceptional brightness and performance for high-volume applications.
Dubbed "element blue", the new laser is available in both quasi-singlemode and multi-mode configurations across wavelengths ranging from 375nm to 525nm. With up to 90W in 105µm fibre from a single module, element blue is an ideal source for additive manufacturing and the cutting of special metals.
These semiconductor lasers deliver the quality and reliability manufactures can depend on, according to NLight.
Applications:
- Additive manufacturing
- Metal and plastic welding
