New product announcements:

PowerLine PS 30 laser markers

These picosecond lasers perform durable black marking on medical devices, enhancing production throughput while maintaining high reliability, Coherent says.

PH20 SmartWeld+ laser processing head

This new addition to the SmartWeld+ series, a next-generation laser processing head with up to 6kW of laser power, is optimised for precise control of penetration depths, including for long weld seams such as those found in battery cells, and for high-speed oscillation of the laser beam in any desired pattern while moving along the weld path.

PowerLine FL fibre laser subsystem

This fibre laser subsystem features new lower output power options suited for a range of precision welding and cutting applications.

HIGHtactile laser welding head

Featuring patent-pending tactile seam-tracking technology, this laser welding head can be configured to perform highly automated fillet welding and brazing in EV manufacturing applications.

HIGHmotion 2D laser processing head

This new addition to the HIGHmotion 2D series of laser processing heads enables deep copper welds of more than 3mm over a large work area of up to 100 x 140mm.

HighLight FL-ARM fibre lasers

The new adjustable ring mode fibre lasers feature enhanced beam properties that are designed to improve welding process stability over large working areas and enable deep welding applications in battery manufacturing for electric vehicles.

50W UV femtosecond Monaco laser

The first 50W femtosecond laser with proven 24/7 industrial-grade performance, according to Coherent, the new Monaco laser is optimised for high-speed, high-volume cutting of wafers and stacked OLED displays for mobile and next-generation IT devices.

5W and 10W Matrix nanosecond pulsed UV lasers

The new Matrix UV lasers are diode-pumped solid-state lasers that provide superior marking quality at half the entry price of existing solutions, the firm says.

65W pump laser diode for fibre laser applications

This laser diode reliably achieves industry-record output power, according to Coherent, with a low operating current. Its compatibility with existing submounts enables a wide range of low-cost fibre laser design architectures.

Pavos kW Ultra optical isolator

Designed to withstand up to 1kW power, this optical isolator is suitable for high-energy ultrashort-pulse lasers.
