Thunder Laser USA has released a low-cost CO2 laser for engraving on a variety of materials.
The Thunder Bolt uses high-powered CO2 laser beams to remove surface layers of materials. The laser beam uses directed high heat to vaporise the surface layers and leave a clean engraving sporting intricate designs.
The Thunder Bolt, which sells for under $5,000, features an integrated camera, touchscreen control panel, auto-focus and motors.
With integrated design and 1GB memory, the laser is smooth to operate, Thunder Laser says, while its high-resolution camera ensures refined detailing. The Thunder Bolt features military-grade strength and rotary capabilities for curved engravings, backed by a two-year warranty.
