True to the motto “More power for cutting” ROFIN presents the DC 060, a CO2 Slab Laser with 6 kW cutting performance. ROFIN is continuing to develop its product portfolio for the cutting market towards higher cutting performances for thicker sheet metals and is the only laser manufacturer that offers CO2 as well as fiber lasers in this high power range.
Rofin has expanded its MPS product family of multi-purpose workstations.
The MPS Compact has a small footprint of 800 mm wide. It can accommodate various fibre-coupled Rofin laser sources and comes with a scanner head and a motorised z-axis. An x- and y-axis can be added optionally, typically for fixed optic applications. Laser sources and supply units are accommodated in an industry-standard 19 inch rack.
Rofin has introduced a newly designed next-generation human machine interface on its four-axis laser cutting system StarCut Tube.
The new HMI integrates all user interface components which are required during normal operation on a single screen. All information about system status and production progress is clearly arranged. User input and parameter modification is limited to certain designated fields.
Rofin has revised its current StarCut Tube generation by fitting a new precision cutting head and a larger working chamber that allows for part removal at any time
