S Laser

Stiefelmayer Lasertechnik has launched its S Laser that combines the precision of micro laser technology with the speed of macro laser technology.

In the laser system, all steel and aluminium was replaced by carbon in all moving parts, and granite axles were introduced to guarantee stability and precision where high speeds are achieved with linear direct drives. Furthermore, highly reflective non-ferrous metals can be processed by using a fibre laser.
