BLM Group has partnered with Tekmag SRL, an Italy-based automation systems manufacturer specialising in standard/customised storage systems.

The companies will work together on developing automated material storage and retrieval systems that fully integrate with BLM Group’s line of flat lasers.

“With the labour shortage and changing workforce of today, the role of automation becomes even more important in manufacturing,” said Dave Cotton, Business Development Manager for BLM Groupd USA. “Tekmag’s product line and proven collaborative capabilities make them a good fit for us, helping bring even more technologically-advanced solutions to our customers.”

Tekmag, established in 1999, offers a wide range of automation and storage solutions ranging from sheet load/unload systems to automated storage/retrieval systems. With this partnership, each of the Tekmag solutions will operate through the controller on the BLM Group laser equipment, providing customers with a seamless solution.

BLM group has a 60+ year history of providing solutions for tube and pipe processing, as well as manufacturing sheet laser cutting systems for the past 30 years. The company is focused on providing the most technologically advanced fabricating machines available with a portfolio that includes flat sheet, tube and 5-axis laser cutters; tube benders; press brakes; and tube end forming, cutting, sawing and turning solutions.
