New ZnSe Focusing Lenses for steel cutting from Laser Research Optics

Laser Research Optics has introduced a new line of ZnSe laser focusing lenses that come in various focal lengths for 200W to 4kW CO2 cutting lasers processing heavy steel plate.

Laser Research ZnSe Focusing Lenses feature focal lengths from 3” to 10” in 0.5” increments and are designed to let users select the best lens for their laser cutting application. These CO2 lenses are offered with a proprietary Cool-Cut™ coating which absorbs less than 0.15% of laser energy to protect against heat damage or with standard A/R coatings providing less than 0.2% total absorption.

Optimized for 10.6 microns, Laser Research ZnSe Focusing Lenses are offered in 1” to 2” O.D. sizes with thicknesses ranging from 0.250” to 0.380” and come in plano-convex and -meniscus configurations and can be supplied plain or mounted. These CO2 lenses are suited for OEMs and field-replacement.
