The Southampton (UK) based fiber laser manufacturer SPI Lasers has recruited James Garland as its new Head of Quality, ensuring the company remains focused on its key goal of supplying customers with the highest quality fiber lasers on the market.
With an extensive background in Quality Engineering and Systems Management gained across a range of industries as well as an MSc in ‘Total Quality Management & Organisational Excellence’, James' expertise will enable SPI Lasers to continue its drive towards consistent improvements in quality, reliability and business process improvement throughout the whole organisation.
James will take on responsibility for Quality Systems, Product Compliance & Export Control, Product Quality & Reliability Engineering and Supplier Quality.

With the recent 40,000sq ft expansion of SPI’s manufacturing facility James’ role will quickly become instrumental to the continued success of this rapidly developing fiber laser designer and manufacturer.
